first nine years in Winooski, Vermont. From her perspective as the first grandchild of Edouard
and Eva Hebert, she warmly remembers in intimate detail her impressions
of family members as they evolved from their roots in the old mill town. Her memoirs show
how the family stuck together and supported each other while economic conditions were
