    Attended St Michael's College preparing for the priesthood.
    Ordained as a priest at the Cathedral in Montreal, 6/11/38.
    First parish was in Graniteville, Vt. in June of 1938.
    St. Joseph's Church in Burlington Vermont,  March of 1941, supervised the sports program for boys
    Pastor at St. Anne's Church in Milton, Vt., 1943
    Pastor of St.John's Church in Enosburg Falls, Vermont in 1954.

    25th Anniversary celebration of his ordination to the priesthood in Windsor, June. 1963
    Heart problems increased and in 1965 was relieved of his duties as a pastor in Windsor, Vt.due to his weak heart.
    Due to health problems wintered in Tarpon Springs, Fla. with his sister Bertha and brother-in law Francis Sourmail.
    .In summer he served as an assistant to Father Patrick T. Hannan at St. Bridget's Church in West Rutland, Vermont in the summer of 1965
    He also served in the next summers at the Loretta Home in Rutland,Vermont, in 1966.   Then he was aiding Father David P. Roche at St. Ambrose Church in Bristol, Vermonjt when he passed away on the 24th of October in 1967.
  • Father Hebert will always remain in the hearts of his parishioners and his family.   He will always be remembered as a gentle and unselfish priest whose sole purpose in life was to serve God, His Church and His people.
