The Abair family and the Howley family grew up together on Charlotte Street in Burlington, Vermont in the 1950-70's. Cousins, friends and neighbors. Both families shared the same maternal great grandmother, Mary Jane Meehan. These web pages contain pictures from Mary (Leddy) Abair's family photo albums.


The Early St. Paul St. Years

Mary Jane Meehan (Bobbie) married Michael Collins and had two children, Helen and Frank.

Helen (Nellie/Darling) married George Leddy (Bert/Baboo) and had one child, Mary. Mary married Leo Abair and had nine children: Alan, John, Bob, Marilee, Chris, Carol, David, Mark, and Phil.

After Michael Collins died, Mary Jane Meehan married William Tooles (Big Pop) and Sarah (Taddy) was born. Sarah married Albert Perrault (Bert) and had three children, Albert (Junny/Dinky), Jackie, and Billy. Jackie married Jim Howley and had six childen: James (Flip), Joanna, Suzie, Annie, Nick, and John.
